A controversy involving singer Chappell Roan, actor Jude Law’s daughter, and a security guard has gone viral after an incident at a hotel in Brazil.
The situation happened in São Paulo while Roan was in the city for the Lollapalooza music festival. According to the family, Jude Law’s 11 year old daughter Ada was staying at the same hotel and recognized the singer during breakfast. She reportedly walked past, smiled, and returned to her table without speaking to her.
Shortly after, a security guard allegedly approached the child and her mother and accused the girl of harassing the singer. The confrontation reportedly left the girl in tears and very shaken. Her stepfather, soccer player Jorginho, later spoke publicly about the incident and criticized how the situation was handled.

Jude Law’s ex partner Catherine Harding also spoke out and said the incident ruined what was supposed to be a birthday trip for her daughter. She claimed the guard was not hotel security but someone connected to the singer’s team.
Chappell Roan later responded and denied that the security guard was part of her personal team. She said she was not aware of the situation at the time and apologized that the child felt uncomfortable. She also said she does not tolerate aggressive behavior toward fans.
The situation quickly sparked debate online about celebrity security, fan interactions, and how public figures should handle situations involving children and fans.
Despite the apology, the incident continues to generate strong reactions online, with many people debating who was responsible for what happened.
