A newly reported CIA technology known as “Ghost Murmur” has allegedly been used for the first time in a real-world mission to locate a downed American airman in Iran.
The device is described as an advanced system capable of detecting a human heartbeat’s electromagnetic signature from long distances, even in remote and low-interference environments.
According to reports, the airman had been shot down during a military operation and spent around two days hiding in mountainous terrain while search efforts continued on the ground.
Traditional tracking methods, including emergency locator beacons, were reportedly not enough to pinpoint his exact location in the rugged landscape.
That is when Ghost Murmur was allegedly deployed, using a combination of quantum magnetometry and AI analysis to isolate faint biological signals from background noise.
Sources claim the system was able to narrow down the airman’s position, allowing rescue teams to move in and recover him during a coordinated operation.
The technology is said to have been developed by the CIA in collaboration with defense contractors, and is still highly classified, with only limited details made public.
