Rock singer Sebastian Bach has spoken about a decades old story involving Christina Applegate and Brad Pitt after the actress revealed details in her recent memoir. The story dates back to the late 1980s when Applegate attended the MTV Video Music Awards with Brad Pitt.
According to Applegate, she went to the event with Pitt as her date, but during the night she became more interested in Sebastian Bach, the lead singer of Skid Row. She later admitted that she left the event with Bach instead of Pitt.
In her memoir, Applegate explained that at the time Brad Pitt was not yet a huge Hollywood star, and she was young and caught up in the moment. She later said she felt bad about how things happened and admitted she was immature at the time.
After the story resurfaced, Sebastian Bach responded in an interview and said he was surprised when the story made headlines again. He explained that he was young, on tour, and meeting many people at the time, and he apologized if anyone was hurt by what happened.
Reports say that after the awards show, Brad Pitt ended up driving Applegate’s friends and family home while she left separately. The situation reportedly caused distance between Applegate and Pitt for several years afterward.
Applegate later said that the two eventually moved on and are on better terms now. She described the situation as something that happened when she was very young and still figuring out her life and relationships.
The story has recently gained attention again because of Applegate’s memoir, where she shared several personal stories from her early years in Hollywood.
