Sydney Sweeney has officially ended her business relationship with her former fiancé, Jonathan Davino, by dissolving their joint production company and establishing a new one under the same name. The actress made a payment to Davino to secure a fresh start free from previous ties, ensuring he no longer has any involvement in her professional affairs.
Sweeney and Davino initially co-founded Fifty-Fifty Films LLC in January 2019, during their romantic relationship which began in 2018. The engagement between the two ended in March 2025. Despite the breakup, both were listed as managers of the company in May 2025.
Fifty-Fifty Films was described as an independent production studio involved in projects including Sweeney’s horror movie “Immaculate” and the romantic comedy “Anyone But You,” featuring Glen Powell. However, on December 12, 2025, documents were filed with the State of California to dissolve Fifty-Fifty Films LLC. The dissolution filing indicated unanimous approval by the company’s members.
Following the dissolution, in January 2026, Sweeney’s team submitted paperwork to establish a new entity named Fifty-Fifty Films, Inc. In this new company structure, Sydney Sweeney is listed as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary, with no vacant board positions reported.
Sources familiar with the situation noted that Davino reportedly claims to have had a significant influence on Sweeney’s career, but those close to her dispute this, suggesting that he benefited from the association more than she did. According to these sources, Sweeney is now moving forward independently, separating both her personal and professional lives from her former partner.
With this move, Sydney Sweeney aims to maintain control over her production endeavors, continuing her work in the film industry on her own terms.
