A woman in the UK was left completely shocked after she thought she needed the toilet, but instead ended up giving birth in the street.
Katie Brown, 27, woke up with severe stomach pain and believed she was having period pains. She even took painkillers, hoping the pain would go away.
However, the pain quickly became unbearable and she could not sit down anymore, so she decided to go to the hospital with help from her mother.
Her mother initially thought it might be appendicitis, and they called an ambulance. While paramedics were helping her walk toward the ambulance, something unexpected happened.
She suddenly dropped to her hands and knees and gave birth right there in the street before even reaching the hospital.
Katie later said she genuinely believed she just needed the toilet and had no idea she was in labor at the time.
Her mother realized what was happening and helped catch the baby, and both mother and baby were later taken to the hospital and were reported to be doing well.
The baby boy was later named William, and the family said the experience was shocking but unforgettable.
