Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau officially made their red carpet debut as a couple during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
The pair attended the premiere of Perry’s latest concert movie, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, where they posed together for photographers for the first time publicly.

Perry stunned fans in a vintage gown from Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 1987 collection, featuring elegant draping and floral details. Trudeau complemented her look with a classic black tuxedo and wing-tip shirt as the couple arrived hand-in-hand at the OKX Theater.
Social media quickly exploded with reactions, with many fans calling them the “power couple of 2026.” Others commented on how happy Perry appeared during the event, with photos of Trudeau admiring the singer going viral online.

Rumors about the pair first began in July 2025 after Trudeau attended Perry’s concert in Montréal alongside his daughter, Ella-Grace. Shortly afterward, the two were photographed sharing dinner together, fueling speculation about a romance.
Their relationship became more public later that year after the pair were spotted vacationing together in Europe and celebrating Perry’s birthday in Paris.

According to reports, the couple’s relationship has grown more serious over the past several months. Sources close to them claim they are now carefully blending their families while approaching their one-year anniversary together.
The red carpet appearance marks the couple’s most high-profile public outing yet and has only intensified public fascination surrounding their unexpected romance.
