Italian getaway featured a hands-on cooking class
Benny Blanco gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Selena Gomez’s 34th birthday celebration, sharing a heartfelt TikTok from the couple’s romantic trip to Italy.
The producer opened the video by saying, “Let’s make an Italian feast for my wife’s birthday,” before showing the pair learning to cook together during a picturesque Italian cooking class.
The couple cooked pasta and classic Italian dishes together
The video captured Gomez cracking eggs into fresh pasta dough, kneading it by hand and feeding it through a pasta machine while Blanco proudly cheered her on.
The couple also prepared several traditional Italian dishes, including fresh spaghetti, stuffed squash blossoms (fiori di zucca) and eggplant parmesan. They toasted with glasses of wine before sitting down to enjoy the meal they had created together.

Blanco couldn’t stop praising Gomez’s cooking
After tasting the finished eggplant parmesan, Blanco couldn’t hide his excitement.
“That’s the best thing I’ve tasted in Italy so far, and you made it,” he told Gomez.
She quickly replied with a smile, “No, you made it.”
The video also featured beautiful views of the Italian countryside, with Blanco joking about the “terrible” scenery while filming elegant villas, fountains and lush gardens.
A simple birthday message melted fans’ hearts
The clip ended with Gomez relaxing after the cooking class as Blanco quietly whispered, “Happy birthday baby, I love you.”
The sweet moment quickly won over fans, offering another glimpse into the couple’s affectionate relationship.
Romantic dinner in Bologna
Before the cooking class, the newlyweds enjoyed dinner at Trattoria della Santa in Bologna, where restaurant owner Riccardo Lelli described them as “absolutely amazing.”
According to Lelli, the pair originally reserved a private table but chose to dine outside beneath Bologna’s famous covered walkways instead.
He said they were warm, kind and generous with compliments for both the food and the staff.
Blanco and Gomez married in September 2025, nearly two years after publicly confirming their relationship.
