Dodiee unveiled its Fall 2026 collection in a unique cabaret-style show at The Box, a renowned downtown venue known for its intimate and theatrical atmosphere. The presentation combined fashion with performance art to create an immersive experience inspired by memory, movement, and identity.

Elisa Dahan, founder and creative director of Dodiee, revealed that the concept stemmed from her first cabaret experience while visiting Paris. Motivated by the cinematic glamour and expressive femininity of classic style icons, the collection and accompanying show drew on personal influences, particularly the elegance and resilience of Dahan’s late mother.

The event opened with a performance by Pat Cleveland, a celebrated ’70s supermodel, who appeared in a sparkling outfit adorned with tinsel. Cleveland performed an original song that paid tribute to Josephine Baker, setting the tone for the evening’s theme. Following her stage appearance, eight dancers showcased the new collection, styled by Dena Giannini, a former British Vogue stylist.

The choreography, inspired by Bob Fosse and learned in just a few days, was paired with techno renditions of songs ranging from Whitney Houston ballads to tangos originally by Dalida—musical selections that held personal significance for Dahan’s mother. This performance style echoed the brand’s philosophy of using clothing as a medium for conveying emotion and storytelling.

The collection itself was built around contrasts, mixing soft materials like sheer fabrics, lace, and fringe with edgier elements such as leather, shearling, and graphic polka dots. The color palette emphasized moody and sophisticated tones including dark teal, plum, black, and metallic shades, enhancing the dynamic effect as the garments moved with the dancers’ bodies.

Attendees enjoyed the atmosphere while sipping custom cocktails specifically created for the event, with offerings such as the Teal Muse cocktail featuring tequila blanco, blue curacao, lime juice, and agave, alongside the Berry Obsession, made of vodka, chambord, and lemon juice. Among the guests were notable figures including Martha Hunt, Candace Bushnell, Charlotte Groeneveld, and Jacquelyn Jablonski.

By merging performance and fashion, Dodiee transformed a traditional runway show into a multidimensional spectacle, involving live music, dance, and narrative elements. The event highlighted the evolving nature of fashion presentations, reflecting the brand’s commitment to creating emotionally resonant and visually impactful experiences.
