‘Wuthering Heights’ continued to lead the U.K. and Ireland box office for the second consecutive weekend, grossing £3.8 million ($5.3 million) and bringing its total earnings to £16.2 million ($22.1 million), according to Comscore data. The film’s sustained performance showcases strong audience interest in the adaptation.
Following closely, the film ‘GOAT’ secured second place with $3.8 million in revenue during the same weekend, reaching a cumulative total of $14.3 million. Meanwhile, ‘Crime 101’ held its position at third, adding $1 million, resulting in a total of $4 million to date. Both titles are Sony-distributed.
Long-running family favorite ‘Zootopia 2’ occupied the fourth position, earning $926,000 in its 13th week and increasing its total to $48.6 million. The highest new release was Mubi’s ‘The Secret Agent,’ debuting at number five with $566,000. Immediately behind, Studiocanal’s ‘Cold Storage’ entered in sixth place with $544,000.
Other notable box office newcomers included Disney’s ‘Send Help,’ which moved to seventh in its third weekend with a gross of $465,000, bringing its total to $5.3 million. Lionsgate U.K.’s ‘Wasteman’ premiered in eighth place with $450,000, while Universal’s ‘The Moment’ was ninth, earning $441,000. Rounding out the top ten was Entertainment Film Distributors’ ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die,’ which garnered $379,000.
Looking ahead, Paramount’s ‘Scream 7’ is anticipated to be a major driver at the box office during the coming week. Directed by Kevin Williamson and featuring stars Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox, alongside a fresh cast, the film is expected to generate considerable interest.
Event cinema remains a significant part of the market, with ongoing and upcoming releases such as the National Theatre’s stage production ‘Audience – NT Live 2026,’ a concert film for ‘Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined’ distributed by Trafalgar Releasing, and Baz Luhrmann’s ‘EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert’ playing in over 300 locations.
