Karla Thaynnara, a 25-year-old Brazilian influencer known for her motorcycle lifestyle content, died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday morning. According to local news reports, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. local time when her motorcycle collided with a car on a highway. After being knocked down on the road, she was reportedly run over by another vehicle.
Her father, José Carlos Andrade Nogueira, a reserve military police officer, arrived at the accident scene and, upon receiving the news of his daughter’s death, died by suicide shortly thereafter. Authorities confirmed both deaths, describing the event as a significant tragedy.
Karla Thaynnara had gained considerable popularity on social media, with over 60,000 followers on Instagram. She frequently shared content about her family, vacations, and passion for motorcycles, maintaining an active presence online until her last post on February 21, which featured a workout video at the gym.
She is survived by a daughter. A joint funeral for Karla and her father was held on Wednesday, during which Sandro Avelar, Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District, addressed attendees and underscored the heartbreaking nature of the event.
