A series of photos showing Tom Holland and Zendaya at a supposed “secret wedding” has been circulating widely online. The images look stunning and believable, but there is one important detail that many people missed.

None of them are real.

One of the most-liked celebrity “wedding” photos on Instagram right now is entirely AI-generated. The image, which shows Holland and Zendaya exchanging vows, quickly spread across social media after renewed rumors about the couple possibly getting married.

Within days, the post gathered more than 10 million likes and became one of the most viral celebrity images of the year.

The photo presents a dreamy scene. Zendaya appears in a white wedding gown with a delicate floral veil, while Tom Holland stands beside her in a classic black tuxedo. The ceremony seems to be taking place in a romantic French garden that looks like something from a luxury wedding magazine.

But that wasn’t the only image circulating.

Several additional photos from the fictional wedding began appearing online. One image appears to show Robert Downey Jr. attending the ceremony, while another shows Holland playfully holding up a Spider-Man mask during the event. That particular detail sparked plenty of jokes from fans across social media.

Despite how convincing the photos appear, the couple has never confirmed any wedding. There has been no official announcement that Holland and Zendaya have tied the knot.

The truth behind the viral images was eventually revealed by digital artist Juan Regueira Rodríguez.

After one of the posts featuring the couple in the French garden passed 11.1 million likes in just five days, Rodríguez addressed the situation on his social media accounts. At first, he playfully celebrated the fictional wedding, writing that Spider-Man had brought together one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples.

Later, he clarified that the images were artistic creations generated using artificial intelligence.

According to Rodríguez, the pictures were meant as a creative interpretation of what a private wedding between the famously discreet couple might look like.

“The images were created with AI as an artistic recreation,” he explained. “They are not real photographs.”

He also noted that the idea was inspired by the couple’s reputation for keeping their relationship extremely private.

In the end, millions of fans across the internet celebrated a wedding that exists only in pixels.
