Hollywood star Nicole Kidman has opened up about an unexpected challenge she faced while filming one of her most talked-about movies. The actress admitted that some scenes became so intense that production had to pause at times.

Kidman starred in the erotic thriller Babygirl, where she plays a powerful CEO who begins a risky relationship with a much younger intern played by Harris Dickinson. The film explores complicated themes around power, desire, and personal identity.

During interviews promoting the movie, Kidman revealed that filming the intimate scenes sometimes became overwhelming. She explained that the constant focus on such moments left her feeling emotionally and physically drained.

At one point, she even told crew members she needed to stop filming because she “didn’t want to orgasm anymore,” describing the experience as similar to reaching a kind of burnout.

The actress said the project required a huge amount of trust between cast and crew. Despite the difficulties, she also viewed the role as an opportunity to explore themes and emotions she had never tackled in previous films.

Kidman later described feeling very exposed during the production, explaining that acting in scenes meant to be seen by audiences around the world felt very different from the private nature of such experiences in real life.

Even with the challenges, the Oscar-winning actress has said she continues choosing roles that push her creatively, adding that she often looks for stories that explore new sides of human experience.
