President Donald Trump sparked fresh headlines after a late‑night social media tirade earlier this week.

In the early morning hours, Trump posted a series of angry messages on his Truth Social platform, demanding that lawmakers pass his favored voting bill known as the SAVE Act and complaining about Democrats and immigration issues.

The so‑called SAVE Act would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and significantly limit mail‑in ballots. Republicans control the Senate, but the bill has little chance of passing because Democrats have vowed to block it and the highly‑charged immigration elements are controversial.

Trump also chastised some of America’s closest allies, faulting them for not joining U.S. efforts in the Middle East and calling them “cowards” in separate posts.

In another incident, the president grew visibly frustrated during a press interaction in Florida, lashing out at a reporter from the conservative network Newsmax and interrupting him before moving on to a question from a journalist from CNN.

Critics argue that the barrage of statements reflects mounting pressure on the White House as legislative priorities stall and global tensions persist.

The White House has not released an official comment directly responding to the tone of Trump’s social media posts.
