Erika Kirk has made a heartbreaking confession about her family plans two months after the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and political commentator, was shot and killed at a university event in Utah in September. Authorities later arrested a suspect who is currently awaiting trial.

Following his death, Erika has spoken publicly several times about her grief and the moment she learned her husband had been shot. She described the emotional ups and downs of grief, saying some days are filled with tears while others bring moments of bittersweet joy with her children.

She also spoke about the video of her husband’s death that circulated online, saying she has never watched it and never plans to. She said she does not want herself or her children to see something so traumatic.

Erika also announced that her husband’s podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, will continue with rotating hosts. She said she wants his voice and message to continue despite his death.

The couple shared two young children and had planned to grow their family in the future. Erika said they had hoped to have four children together.

In a recent interview, she made a heartbreaking confession, saying she had prayed she might be pregnant when her husband died so that something positive could come out of the tragedy.

She has since encouraged young couples not to delay having children, saying careers can wait but time with family cannot be replaced.
