The ongoing custody dispute between Travis Mullen and his ex-wife Meghan Mullen has escalated with allegations that Meghan has failed to comply with court-ordered drug testing. Travis Mullen, partner to “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter, is seeking permanent sole custody of their three minor children, citing multiple violations and neglect accusations.

Travis and Meghan, who ended their marriage in 2016, have been engaged in a prolonged and contentious legal battle regarding the care and custody of their children. According to court documents obtained recently, the conflict intensified in early 2025 when Travis claimed that Meghan denied him contact with one of their sons for over a month and allowed the child to miss a significant amount of school.

The court responded to these concerns by granting Travis sole custody in November 2025, while limiting Meghan’s visitation to monitored sessions. Despite this ruling, the dispute has not subsided. New court filings by Travis allege that Meghan missed several mandated drug tests and failed to meet even the most basic care requirements for their children.

Meghan, however, disputes these allegations and has contested Travis’s bid for permanent sole custody. In her response to the court, she argued that Travis is manipulating the legal process to exert control over her, stating, “Travis continues to misuse the court process to get his way. His filings appear intended to punish and control me, not to protect the children. Travis is using the family court system as a tool of coercive control and retaliation.”
