The viral “kiss cam” moment at a Coldplay concert that sparked global attention has taken another unexpected turn.

Kristin Cabot, the HR executive at the center of the incident, has revealed new details about what happened before she was filmed embracing her boss during the show.

The clip, which spread rapidly online in 2025, showed Cabot and then-CEO Andy Byron reacting awkwardly after appearing on the stadium’s big screen, fueling speculation about their relationship.

At the time, the backlash was intense, with both individuals facing public scrutiny and eventually stepping down from their roles.

However, Cabot has now shared that she received a message just before the concert that changed how she viewed the situation.

According to her, her daughter texted her to say that her estranged husband was also at the same event — something she hadn’t expected.

She admitted the thought of running into him briefly crossed her mind, especially as she was attending with her boss. But given the massive crowd, she assumed it was unlikely they would cross paths.

Looking back, she later reflected that bumping into him directly might have been less complicated than what actually unfolded.

Cabot has also emphasized that she and her husband were already separated at the time, and that he was aware of her close working relationship with Byron.

The incident, however, quickly spiraled beyond that context — becoming a viral moment that affected both her personal life and career.
