Comedian and actor Pete Davidson is turning heads after revealing the extent of his physical transformation, following years of removing the tattoos that once covered much of his body.
Davidson, who previously had around 200 tattoos, began the removal process in 2020. Since then, he has spent an estimated $200,000 on laser treatments, with the process still ongoing.

Recent appearances show just how far he has come. Photos from public events reveal that most of the ink on his arms, hands, and neck has significantly faded or disappeared, marking a major shift from his earlier look.
The process itself has not been easy. Davidson has openly described tattoo removal as more painful than getting the tattoos, involving repeated sessions where layers of skin are treated over time.
One of the key reasons behind the change is his acting career. Covering tattoos for film roles can take hours in makeup, and removing them has made it easier for him to take on a wider range of projects.
But the decision also appears to be personal. Davidson has suggested that many of his tattoos were tied to a difficult period in his life, and removing them represents a kind of fresh start as he moves forward.
Despite the progress, the journey is far from over. Davidson has said he is only about 30 percent through the process, with more sessions expected to continue for years, possibly even up to a decade.
Experts note that tattoo removal is typically a long and costly process, often requiring multiple treatments depending on the size, color, and depth of the ink.

For now, Davidson’s transformation is becoming one of the most talked-about examples of how drastically someone can change their appearance, with fans reacting to his nearly unrecognizable new look.
