Kylie Jenner has opened up about the difficult reality behind her second pregnancy, revealing that severe pain and medical complications left her struggling to even get out of bed.
The reality star and founder of Kylie Cosmetics shared the details during a recent appearance on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, where she spoke candidly about the physical and emotional toll pregnancy took on her body.
“The Baby Was Falling Out”
Jenner explained that her second pregnancy with son Aire was far more difficult than expected, despite being in what she described as the “best shape” of her life beforehand.
She revealed she suffered intense sciatica and severe lower back pain throughout the pregnancy, alongside ongoing nausea that often became worse when she did not eat.
The most alarming moment came when Jenner disclosed she was reportedly three centimetres dilated for over a month before giving birth.
According to Jenner, doctors instructed her to remain in bed because the baby was “falling out.”
Severe Pain Left Her Bedridden
The 28-year-old admitted there were days where the pain became so overwhelming that she could barely move.
She described spending long periods confined to bed due to back issues and pregnancy complications, despite initially believing her fitness level would make the pregnancy easier.
Jenner also spoke openly about rapid weight gain and intense food cravings during the experience.
Her First Pregnancy Was Very Different
Interestingly, Jenner said her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi was physically much smoother, though emotionally far more stressful.
She became pregnant at just 19 years old and admitted she was terrified to tell her family the news at the time.
Despite her fears, Jenner later said her family reacted supportively once she finally opened up about the pregnancy.
Keeping the Pregnancy Secret
One of the biggest challenges during her first pregnancy was hiding it from the public and paparazzi.
Jenner largely disappeared from public life during that period, later explaining she felt the secrecy helped protect her mental health during such a vulnerable time.
When she eventually announced Stormi’s birth publicly, Jenner said she cried for hours from the emotional relief of no longer hiding the news.
Fans Praise Her Honesty
Many fans online have praised Jenner for discussing the less glamorous side of pregnancy, particularly given the pressure celebrities often face to appear flawless.
Her comments also sparked wider conversations about how pregnancy complications and postpartum recovery are frequently downplayed online.
