Jelly Roll has opened up about a deeply personal side of his health journey — and it’s not what most people expected.

After shedding nearly 300lbs, the “Son of a Sinner” star might look like a completely different man — but according to him and his wife, the transformation didn’t instantly fix everything behind closed doors.

“It Was Bad”

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, Jelly Roll didn’t hold back when describing what intimacy was like before his weight loss.

“I couldn’t even get aroused, I was so big… I was having to play Twister to have sex.”

The rapper explained that his size made physical intimacy extremely difficult, despite being married to Bunnie Xo, whom he’s been with since 2016.

The Unexpected Twist After Losing Weight

You’d think dropping that much weight would instantly improve everything — but according to Bunnie, it’s not that simple.

On her Dumb Blonde Podcast, she revealed that major physical changes can actually slow down intimacy.

“Big body changes mess with your head and hormones… it’s not shocking libido dips too.”

She explained that after dramatic transformations — especially when combined with medications like Ozempic — couples may go through an adjustment phase.

It’s Not Just Physical

Bunnie emphasized that weight loss affects more than just appearance.

  • Hormones can shift
  • Confidence changes
  • Mental adjustment takes time

For many couples, it’s less about attraction — and more about adapting to a completely new version of themselves.

Still a Positive Transformation

Despite the challenges, Bunnie has been vocal about how proud she is of her husband.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, she praised his transformation:

“He’s got a little strut in his step… he deserves to feel his best.”

She even joked about one surprising physical change, confirming a common claim that weight loss can impact male anatomy.

The Bigger Picture

Jelly Roll’s story highlights something many people don’t talk about:

Major weight loss isn’t just a physical journey — it’s emotional, hormonal, and deeply personal.

And sometimes, even positive changes come with unexpected adjustments.
