While Prince Harry’s recent reunion with King Charles III has sparked hopes of improving family ties, reports suggest his relationship with Prince William remains unchanged.

According to sources familiar with the situation, there has been no direct contact between the brothers, despite Harry’s visit to the United Kingdom and renewed communication with the King.

A Relationship Still Under Strain

People close to the royal family say the rift between William and Harry remains deep, with little sign of progress toward reconciliation.

The brothers’ relationship has been under intense public scrutiny since Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties in 2020. Tensions increased further following the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare, in which he shared his experiences within the royal family.

Separate Paths During the Visit

Although both brothers were in the London area during Harry’s trip, there were no expectations that they would meet.

Instead, Harry reportedly spent time reconnecting with King Charles and Queen Camilla, while William carried out public engagements alongside Catherine, Princess of Wales, including his annual charity polo event.

The reported distance between the brothers has also affected their children. According to those familiar with the family, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have little to no relationship with their cousins, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who live in California.
