Taylor Frankie Paul refuted allegations made by Dakota Mortensen during a police call in February, maintaining that the accusations were inaccurate. In audio obtained from the Draper Police Department, Paul can be heard requesting officers to consult her attorney regarding the claims made by Mortensen. She expressed doubt about the validity of the report before hearing specific details.
Officers informed Paul that the complaint involved two separate alleged incidents occurring within a day of each other. She responded by considering the possibility of filing a report herself after discussing the matter with her lawyer. Paul also questioned why the police inquired about her well-being, noting confusion over Mortensen’s claim that she was harmed while simultaneously disputing the accuracy of the accusations.
The police advised Paul to maintain distance from Mortensen and instructed her to document any injuries in case they were sustained. The call lasted just under three minutes.
Following the investigation, prosecutors in Utah announced they would not pursue criminal charges against Paul in connection with the domestic violence allegations. This development concludes the legal proceedings related to the incidents between Paul and Mortensen.
Both individuals have been public figures due to their involvement in media related to the series “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” The situation attracted public attention as the allegations emerged, but the decision by prosecutors has ended the criminal aspect of the case.
