Influencer Emilie Kiser has shared that she and her husband, Brady, are expecting their third child, just over a year after the heartbreaking loss of their 3-year-old son, Trigg.

The 27-year-old announced the news in an emotional Instagram post on July 3, describing the pregnancy as a source of hope for her family after an incredibly difficult year.

“We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family,” Emilie wrote.

She added that the pregnancy has brought light during one of the darkest chapters of their lives.

“This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days.”

Choosing Privacy During a New Chapter

Emilie explained that while she wanted to share the happy news with her followers, she plans to keep much of her pregnancy private.

She said protecting her family’s privacy remains her top priority and thanked supporters for respecting the boundaries she intends to set as they prepare to welcome their newest addition.

“This baby has already brought so much hope and joy into our home, and we are treasuring every moment of it together,” she wrote.

The couple are already parents to 15-month-old son Teddy.

Remembering Trigg

The announcement comes a little more than a year after the devastating death of the couple’s eldest son, Trigg.

In May 2025, the 3-year-old was hospitalized after a drowning accident at the family’s Arizona home. He died several days later after being treated in the hospital.

Since then, Emilie has spoken openly about the grief her family continues to live with while emphasizing that healing does not mean forgetting.

“You don’t heal from the loss, you learn to live with the grief,” she previously wrote in response to a follower on TikTok.

She credited ongoing therapy with helping her navigate the unimaginable loss while learning to extend empathy and forgiveness.

Opening Up About Forgiveness

During a recent appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, Emilie reflected on the emotional journey she and Brady have faced since Trigg’s death.

She admitted that, in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy, she struggled with anger toward her husband and even questioned whether their marriage could survive.

Over time, however, she said she came to realize that the circumstances could just as easily have been reversed.

Emilie explained that Brady had been caring for their newborn son, Teddy, while she was out that evening, leading her to develop compassion alongside her grief.

She said that understanding allowed her to move toward forgiveness while acknowledging that nothing could erase the pain of losing their son.

Looking Ahead

While the family continues to carry the grief of losing Trigg, Emilie’s pregnancy announcement reflects a new chapter filled with cautious hope.

As they prepare to welcome another baby, she says they are embracing every moment together while asking for privacy and understanding from those who have followed their journey.
