The podcast host made a surprising joke about her former marriage during a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, comparing it to serving a “10-year bid” in prison while reacting to some of the messages she’s received since news of the couple’s divorce became public.

While reading through direct messages from men hoping to catch her attention, Bunnie came across one from an inmate who wrote that he was about to be released after serving a decade behind bars.
The message read:
“Hey pretty lady, I’m about to get out of prison on a 10-year bid next year. Please let me go out and have a time with you.”
Bunnie laughed at the request, saying she didn’t necessarily mind that the sender had been in prison, but took issue with what sounded like an expectation for their first date.
When one of her co-hosts joked that after 10 years in prison the man might be eager to make up for lost time, Bunnie fired back with the line that quickly caught fans’ attention.
“I mean, same. I just got out of a 10-year bid too, bitches. What are we talking about?”
The room erupted in laughter before Bunnie admitted she was only joking and even quipped that she’d probably receive a phone call afterward for making the comment.
Divorce Filing Came as a Surprise
Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, officially filed for divorce in Tennessee in May. Court documents listed the couple’s date of separation as May 9 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending the marriage.
