Paris Jackson has reassured fans after online concern over her appearance led her to undergo an ultrasound examination on her neck.
The singer and daughter of Michael Jackson shared updates on social media after followers noticed what they described as a “weird” appearance in her throat area during a recent Instagram video.
Fans Pointed Out Something Unusual
Paris explained that comments about her neck quickly made her anxious enough to seek medical reassurance.
In a video shared to Instagram Stories, she revealed that someone came directly to her rehearsal studio to perform an ultrasound on her throat and lymph nodes.
“A bunch of people pointed out that my neck looks weird,” she said, admitting the comments initially made her panic about whether something could be wrong.
The concerns also worried her because she is currently rehearsing for upcoming live performances.
Ultrasound Revealed No Serious Problems
After the examination, Paris updated fans again and said there was no major issue discovered.
She explained that recent blood tests had already come back normal and that the ultrasound only showed slight redness around her vocal cords, with no signs of calluses or more serious complications.
According to Paris, the unusual appearance of her neck is likely related to years of singing and vocal muscle development.
She said the muscles in her throat have become more visible over time because she is naturally very slim.
Singer Says Fans “Freaked Her Out”
Although she ultimately appeared relieved, Paris admitted the online speculation genuinely scared her for a while.
She even revisited older videos of herself and noticed her neck had looked similar before, which helped reassure her that nothing had suddenly changed.
The singer is currently preparing for performances tied to her upcoming music project, Teenage Drama, which is scheduled for release later this month.
Paris Has Been Open About Health Struggles
Over the past year, Paris has publicly discussed several personal health battles, including her sobriety journey and past struggles with addiction.
Earlier this year, she revealed she had been sober from alcohol and heroin for several years while continuing to navigate depression, OCD, and complex PTSD.
She has also previously spoken openly about suffering a perforated septum due to past drug use, warning followers against substance abuse.
Despite the recent health scare, Paris appears to be continuing rehearsals and preparing for her upcoming performances without interruption.
